Dont cut it. The hair at the end (like where split ends are) is dead anyway, once it comes out of the scalp it's dead, so it does no good to cut it regularly (unless your hair gets lots of split ends and it's unmanageable). But nothing is fast when it comes to growing things out of your body (except being pregnant I guess) it's just the way the body does things.
