Unfortuantely, it will most definitely grow back because you're not attacking the hair at the base of the follicle. The only way to permanently reduce or eliminate hair is through laser hair removal or electrolysis. For larger areas, electrolysis is not recommended as it's tedious and rather painful. It's really only a good idea if you just have a few stray hairs or you're not a candidate for laser (i.e. your hair is blonde or gray).

i use this stuff called surgi cream it felt like hot lava the first time i used it but only because i haven't used cream before and so now i use it all the time and it doesn't grow back thicker.

yeah i think so. i'm not a man but i use nair hair removal and the hair grows back twice as fast and is even more thicker and visible.

That's an old wives' tale about it coming back thicker and darker even with shaving. It just seems that way because it grows out with a blunt edge. How could it make it thicker?
