Best way to grow hair?

My hair is really short...like neck to shoulder length and I don't think its grown in over 5 YEARS! Can someone help me or give me tips on growing it longer? My moneys a lil funny right now so I can't get a "professinal" trim or fancy pantsy hair products...so inexpensive ways to help?

Well you do have to get it trimmed regularly, because healthy trimmed hair grows better than shaggy not-trimmed unhealthy hair.

I would say get a head massage, but those can be somewhat expensive. Try to have a friend do it, or do it yourself, or find a happy kitten and put it on your head.

Basically if you can stimulate the hair follicles they're more likely to produce hair.

This may sound crazy but you could take prenatal vitamins. They make your hair grow like crazy and you can get them over the counter. Just if you are "active" make sure you are using some sort of contraceptive. mine was like that too but all you have to do go and by vitamins from a place callled BOOTS if you know it!

prenatal vitamins and a shampoo called "mane and tail" the stuff has been formulated for humans but if you can find the shampoo that is for horses it works MUCH better.

I also use liquid fabric softener in my hair to make it softer and less likely to break.

check your hair for split ends. If that is the case then you need to trim of the dead ends so that it can grow healthier and NEVER ever blow dry or hot curl your hair.

Try doing a hot oil treatment , your self on it. You can get a kit at a Wall-Mart or drug store pretty cheap. Wash once a week . And wait for it to grow. Eat a well balance diet,eat a lot of foods with vitamin e in them.
